ALEXANDRA VISHER: PRESIDENT

During the 2020 campaign cycle, Alexandra Visher was a member of the Biden for President (BFP) Business Engagement team. In that capacity, she served as a member of the core team driving strategy and business outreach. Prior to that Alex was Managing Director of Strategy and Development at JUST Capital, an organization equipping the market with the data, tools, and insights to deliver on the promise of stakeholder capitalism and an economy that works for all Americans. 

Before moving to New York, Alex lived in Washington, DC for many years working in the private sector, politics, and philanthropy. She served in the Obama Administration as Senior Advisor and Counselor to the Under Secretary for International Trade at the Department of Commerce. As part of the senior leadership team responsible for a 2,200-person global organization, Alex was responsible for special projects, including signature initiatives like public-private partnerships through the US-Africa Business Forum, the launch of an award-winning global digital attaché program to help companies navigate the digital economy and trade barriers, and the SelectUSA Summit focused on in-bound foreign direct investment. 

Alex has an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School, a BA from the University of California at Berkeley, and studied at the Sorbonne in Paris. At HKS, Alex was elected class representative to the HKS Student Government. She is a registered yoga instructor with a passion for geographic and culinary exploration.
