Daniel Sosnowik: Past Communications Chair

Daniel is currently both a teacher and training consultant in his community’s private school system in Brooklyn. Prior to that role, he served as an NYPD captain and a commanding officer of the New York City Police Academy. During his 31 years with the nation’s largest police agency, he specialized in leadership and executive training and provided operational and investigative direction for over 10,000 uniformed and civilian police managers. Daniel has also lectured in managing and marketing skills at the City University of New York. In 2017, he founded a New York City-based security company and has served as an advisor to private enterprises on security and safety concerns. He completed his MC/MPA at the Kennedy School in 1998 and was honored as an HKS Littauer Fellow that same year.
