Fernando is a self-driven leader with an exceptional track record over 23 years for surpassing partnership and financial goals in Fortune 500 companies and the United Nations. Passionate about children’s rights and gender-equality, generated over $2.5 billion as a senior diplomat for UNICEF and UN Women and was appointed to the Board of Trustees of the UN International School of New York City by UN Secretary-General António Guterres. Serves in Education and Fundraising committees in Qualitas of Life Foundation, bringing financial literacy to under-banked communities in New York City. Member of the Harvard Kennedy School Dean’s Council, Georgetown University’s MBA Alumni Advisory Council, and University of St Andrews’ 1413 Society. Founder of Ripple Impact Investments, partnering with early-stage companies wanting to create sustainable solutions at scale for improved human dignity and productivity, with a focus on technology, as applied to life sciences, climate action, and human connectivity. An avid golfer and aspiring upmarket fiction writer.

Fernando is married and is a father of three children. Originally from Mexico, and having lived in the UK, Spain, Belgium, and Switzerland, he resides with his family between New York City and Carmel, California, with plenty of travel in between.
