Vanessa Tantillo Aronson: Past Membership Chair

Vanessa is currently serving as the Director of Strategy at the ASPCA. She began her career as a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State, serving in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and in the Bureau of International Organization Affairs. She then became a Teach For America Corps Member and worked as public middle school science teacher here in New York City. In 2017, Vanessa was a candidate to represent District 4 on the New York City Council. Vanessa earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Chicago and her MPP from HKS in 2009. She lives on the Upper East Side with her husband Reid and Chihuahua Gilda Jane.
